Description

A permanent, junior-level role to assist with loading and off-loading goods from vehicles at the depot and at client premises. The truck assistant ensures goods are loaded correctly and securely, stacks goods in designated areas, and maintains general housekeeping standards. The position requires working Monday to Friday (07h00 – 17h00) with potential overtime and unsociable hours.

Responsibilities

• Loading and off-loading goods from the vehicle at the depot.
• Off-loading goods from the vehicle at the client's premises.
• Stacking goods from the vehicle into the designated area.
• Ensuring goods are loaded correctly and secured on the vehicle at all times.
• General housekeeping as and when required.

Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) minimum.
• License: Valid unendorsed Code 10 driver's license.
• PDP: Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Transport: Own transport to and from work.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (07h00 – 17h00); ability to work overtime and unsociable hours as required.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised.
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Reliable and presentable at all times.
• High degree of integrity.
